I used Gary Damp to help me sell my home as I was entering the next phase of life in an aged facility.
Gary took control for me. He assessed the house for potential price, who the buyers would likely be and what would be needed to be prepared for a sale. He then went about preparing the house, decluttering, organising all the trades, and taking care of the finer details. The house was totally repaired and refreshed from the moment you entered. It looked amazing. It was fully prepared over the Christmas break ready for early February
He interviewed 6 real estate agents in a very thorough process and gave me two recommended people to select based on his selection critieria. I chose Donovan from Di Jones. The choice of his team was excellent and the right choice. Gary worked closely with them handling and managing all inquiries and covering any detail and preperation that was needed, including setting the reserve price for auction.
On Auction date the agents wanted a reserve of $2.9 Million, but Gary was confident of a reserve of $3.1 Million. On Auction day he was right, I achieved a price of $3.120 Million. I was amazed and thrilled. It all worked exactly as he said. They all worked as a team. Gary even nominated the successful buyer before the auction.
My property was worth around $2.5 Million without the works. I spent $120,000 in my renovation and selling costs and received $3.12 Million. I spent $120K and gained $620,000! This was over a 5 times return on my money.
I have retired comfortably to my home and feel very relieved financially. Gary removed all the stress of this process and was dtermined and very professional. An amazing result and I highly recommend him to anyone selling a home.
